I had just move for work to Victoria from Toronto and I didn’t know anyone so I decided to post my picture and my profile on your site to meet new and interesting people who would have similar interest to mine but…I didn’t expect to meet Mister Right ! Just a few days after posting my profile, I received numerous messages and I was intrigued by Doug’s profile so I decided to reply to him. We started communicating and after exchanging a few emails, he invited me to go hiking. We had a lot of fun but I wasn’t really interested to start a relationship with anyone. We saw each other almost every weekend after that and he took the time to show me the city and introducing me to many people. The more I knew him, the more I liked him and it was clear to me that we were meant to be with each other. He proposed to me on Valentine’s Day and we got married the first week of May.
